Information Governance Community Mission:

The Information Governance community is a group of representatives that focuses on the policies, procedures, processes, standards, and controls for efficiently and effectively managing information that strike the right balance between profit focused business drivers and mitigation of risk.  Organization’s physical and information assets must be properly managed so that the organization’s financial, legal, operational, and cultural objectives can be achieved.  The IG community is dedicated to approaching the discussions in a holistic and cross-functional approach that addresses accountability across a myriad of company departments and roles.
